CONTRACT TERMINATIONS – Please keep in mind to cancel any contracts you have agreed on during your stay in Bremen. Here are the most important.

 

BANK ACCOUNT – For cancelling your bank account, go to your bank and ask them to close your bank account. They either transfer the money to your foreign bank account (please be aware of transferring fees) or hand it out in cash. It´s important to bring your passport and your bank card.

 

HEALTH INSURANCE – For cancelling your health insurance, bring the following documents to your health insurance:

 

- Copy of return flight or train ticket

- Confirmation of de-registration Bremen

- Confirmation of de-registration HfK

 

MOBILE PHONE CONTRACT – In most cases you cancel your contract online, if you are uncertain about your contract conditions please contract your carrier.
